Community Manager tools/applications?

Anyone working in a joomla community and have some recommendations of community manager apps/tools. Pie in the sky -- would love to have a dashboard with activity level indicators and be able to map that against profile data so I can aggregate the data and send out customized emails to try to encourage more activity... any recommendations or insights?
